Tracey Gerrard

Tracey Gerrard is a highly experienced and qualified Nurse with over 30 years of experience in the Care industry, dedicated to providing the highest quality care to those in need, Tracey has achieved many exceptional career milestones highlighting her impressive knowledge and implementation of the CQC regulations and guidelines.

Tracey was the manager at a Specialist Brain Injury Unit, where her efforts ensured the home achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The rating reflected her fastidious approach to ensuring the very best quality of care was being provided.

After undertaking the challenge of turning around the Brain Injury Units sister home, which was a 117-bed 3-unit facility and achieving success, she took on a new and ambitious challenge. This new endeavour involved commissioning a brand-new care home, which presented a significant task as the building was empty and in need of a complete refurbishment.

Despite challenges, Tracey worked diligently to ensure the successful opening of the care home. Its noteworthy that this achievement occurred just six months before the global COVID-19 pandemic began. The timing of this accomplishment made the subsequent challenges even more remarkable.

Throughout the pandemic, Tracey and her team maintained a remarkable achievement by keeping the care home COVID-Free. This was testament to their dedication to providing a safe and secure environment for the residents.

Tracey’s ability to take on and overcome significant challenges, coupled with her commitment to the well-being of residents, is truly commendable. Her career in the healthcare industry is marked by a legacy of success and compassion for those under her care.

All this accumulated with Tracey and her team being invited to the 2019 British Care Awards, where she received recognition of her exceptional contribution to care industry when she won British Care Awards North West Regional Finals. This award highlights the dedication to excellence and innovation in the field of Care.

Inspired by all the challenges managers and the care industry in general face, especially during the pandemic, Tracey decided to transition into consultancy. Her goal is to assist home managers in improving the quality of care in their facilities with the strong belief that when a home is in the right hands, it is on the right track.

Rebecca Gerrard

Rebecca Gerrard’s journey through life has been marked by dedication, adaptability and a strong commitment to family and professional growth, particularly in the field of care services.

Rebecca began her career working for her local authority, where she spent five years gaining valuable experience and knowledge in administrative and organisational roles and processes and the importance of efficient organisation, developing a keen eye for detail.

However, life then took a significant turn for Rebecca when she became a mother to her daughter, Lacey. Choosing to prioritize her family during this period, Rebecca devoted herself to the care of her Daughter.

After some time away from the workforce, Rebecca embarked on a new adventure, helping a brand-new business establish itself and welcome its first residents into their new home. In this role she displayed her meticulous attention to detail by assisting with schedules, policies and planning. Her contributions in this role ensured the smooth operation of the business, ensuring the residents received the very best care.

Rebecca’s career trajectory once again shifted as she took another break, this time to focus on her marriage to Jake and the birth of their second child, Rosie in 2020. The importance of family life remained at the forefront of her life choices, reflecting her commitment to creating a loving stable environment for loved ones.

With the support and guidance of Tracey Gerrard, Rebecca transitioned into the family business, leveraging her fastidious approach to correct documentation. This marked the beginning of her journey into consultancy within the care industry. In this role, she expanded her expertise by conducting mock inspections, audits and review. Her willingness to learn and adapt allowed her to gain in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of the care industry, ensuing compliance with regulations and the provision of high quality care.

Jake Gerrard

Jake Gerrard is a professional with a wealth of experience and expertise spanning across diverse fields, including sales, marketing and legal and administrative work. His Journey through these different domains has equipped him with a unique skill set that has proven invaluable in his career.

Jakes journey in the professional world began as a teenager when he ventured into the world of sales. This early exposure to sales not only honed his interpersonal skills but also instilled a strong work ethic and determination to succeed. Continuing to grow required developing an acute understanding of customer needs and effective sales strategies, allowing success and regularly surpassing set targets.

As Jake continued in different sectors, he transitioned into customer services, where he thrived in helping people navigate complex issues and find solutions to their problems. His ability to empathise with customers and provide them with exceptional service set him apart In the field. Jakes commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction became a hallmark of his professional ethos.

However, it was in the legal and administrative realm that Jake found his true calling. For eight years, immersing himself in the intricate world of property law, where he took on multifaceted responsibilities related to property purchasing and selling. His roles demanded a deep understanding of property law, meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Jake became a invaluable asset to the legal team, handling all aspects of the legal work involved in property transactions.
